Alpine Coaster Een Alpine Coaster is een veilige rodelbaanconstructie, gebruikmakend van een stalen railsysteem, gebouwd door de Duitse firma Wiegand. De wagentjes bieden plaats aan twee personen maar kunnen evengoed door één individu bestuurd worden. Het voordeel van deze baan is, dat geen grote funderingen nodig zijn, en dat het staalwerk gewoon via stalen pennen kan vastgezet worden aan het grondoppervlak. Er is veel variatie mogelijk bij het ontwerpen van deze attractie, gaande van snelle, spannende bochten tot drops van 4 meter. Zelfs zogenaamde jumps zijn mogelijk om de rit nog spannender te maken. |
