This magical date is a special date for our website: www.themeparkvision.net was born.

This website would like to be guiding you around through European parks. We truly hope to give you a complete overview of themeparks in Europe, offering a lot of information for the practical visitor of a park and for the 'parkfreaks'.
We launched the website, presenting 20 European parks in 8 countries, describing about 750 attractions, shows and facilities.
We have been growing ever since, and today we offer you information of 55 parks, divided over 13 European countries. Almost 2000 attractions are covered on our website.

The main part of our websites is the Park Guide. It is very easy to select a park: you pick a European country, and at the right side you can select a park of that specific country.
Once you've picked a park, you will discover an attraction list of that park. A lot of attractions are presented with several pictures or even with a videostream, where we have taken into account that there are people with a slower modem connection. That's why we offer the people to choose between low and high bandwidth.
You can also zoom into some pictures, also into the park map and have a walk through the park virtually.

Each ride receives a certain appreciation. This is determined in a very objective way. Of course our visitors can give their input, once logged in, and their rates are taken into account.

All attractions are described shortly, by giving it a general description name. This might not always sound familiar. Therefore we offer a dictionary, where you can have a look what it really means.

General park information is also offered onto our website: you can find opening hours and entrance fees here, some information for disabled users, what about your dog?
Also we give an overview of several dining possibilities in the park.
At last you can also check the roadmap, to find your way to the park.

We also offer a lot of news, nice to know items, trip-stories, which can be submitted by our visitors,... People can talk about it into our forum with chat-functionality. Also a 'links'-section can be found, offering the visitors the possibility to check out other relevant sites. ThemeParkVision is also having a job-channel, which can be used by the parks themselves to look for motivated personnel.

Since August 1st 2001, we co-operate with Rollercoaster Friends.
Rollercoaster Friends found a very good communication- and information platform at ThemeParkVision.
The 'Friends' is a very famous and respected rollercoasterclub. The group has a large experience in visiting parks all over Europe, and a lot of the members also went to the US exploring the overseas parks. Rollercoaster Friends is a very reliable source of information for ThemeParkVision. By co-operating they hope to become more widely known.
Both organisations are complimentary to each other.
